- All games are 100% free to play start-to-finish. No ads required for progression, no paid upgrades, no signup.
- Personal best scores are stored locally (localStorage). If the user opts in by submitting a name, their score is added to a **global leaderboard** shared across all visitors.
- Global leaderboard data is stored server-side in a single SQLite database keyed by game slug. Submitted rows store: name (≤12 chars), score, stage, play time, hashed IP (for rate limiting only). Raw IPs are never persisted.
