A crane slides a block left and right — tap / click to drop it onto the tower. Land dead-center for a PERFECT, big points and a combo! Real physics makes the tower wobble, so misaligned drops eventually topple it. Drop one block and it's game over. How high can you stack?
Tower Stack
Drop crane-carried blocks to stack a tower. Real physics makes it wobble — how high before it topples?
📖 How to Play
- Tap / click / Space to drop the block the crane is sliding left-right
- Land it dead-center over the block below for a PERFECT (big points + combo)
- Chain PERFECTs to keep raising the combo multiplier
- Physics makes the tower wobble — misalignment builds up until it leans and falls
- The crane moves faster the higher you climb
- Drop a block or topple the tower and it's game over
- Compete on the global leaderboard by height (blocks stacked) and score
About this game
Tower Stack is a physics puzzle: drop blocks from a crane that slides left and right, and build the tallest tower you can. It runs on the Matter.js engine, so your tower genuinely wobbles, leans and eventually falls.
Landing a block dead-centre on the one below scores a PERFECT, worth big points and a combo. Chaining PERFECTs raises the multiplier, so precision converts directly into score.
Small misalignments shift the tower's centre of mass, and at some point the whole structure leans past recovery. A single sloppy drop can cost you a run dozens of blocks later. The crane also moves faster the higher you climb, so the late game is a real concentration test.
Tips & strategy
- The crane moves on a fixed cycle — counting its turnaround points makes timing much easier
- Before chasing PERFECTs, simply avoid big misses. Accumulated drift is what actually topples towers
- After a slight miss, bias the next block the other way to pull the centre of mass back
- The crane speeds up as you climb, so switch to releasing slightly earlier as the pace rises
- Don't rush consecutive drops — waiting for the tower to stop swaying makes each landing more reliable
- The tower sways more as it grows — watch the rhythm and release as it passes centre
FAQ
Q. What is a PERFECT?
A. Landing a block exactly on top of the one below. It scores big and builds a combo multiplier as you chain them.
Q. How does the game end?
A. When you drop a block off the tower or the stack topples over.
Q. What are the controls?
A. Tap, click or press Space to release the block — that's the whole game, and it's playable one-handed.
Q. Is the physics real?
A. Yes, it runs on Matter.js, so accumulated misalignment genuinely tips the tower over.
Q. How high can I stack?
A. Around ten blocks at first, and several dozen once you're practised. How you handle the faster crane in the late game is what separates records.
